These T&Cs are important for the safety of all customers and staff – please read carefully.

PLYMOUTH KARTING – Indoor Karting


Booking

1.1.          A refundable deposit of £10 per driver is payable within seven days of booking.
1.2.          Outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to commencement of the booked event.
1.3.          Provisional bookings are accepted but at the organiser’s risk.
1.4.          Bookings are only confirmed once the appropriate booking form(s) have been completed and only secured once deposit(s) have been paid.
1.5.          We accept debit/credit cards, cash and online payments. Cheques are not currently accepted.
1.6.          Bookings cannot be transferred or resold.
1.7.          If you arrive late or do not show up for your activity. This may mean you will miss your activity, and this will not be refunded.
1.8.          Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged eighteen or over whilst on Plymouth Karting Limited property. If an appropriate adult must miss their activity, no refund shall be granted. Credit may be awarded to a driver profile at the Duty Manager’s discretion.

Cancellations

2.1.          Providing a minimum of SEVEN DAYS notice is given, a full refund of deposits paid is returned LESS any booking fees if the event organiser cancels a booked event or reduces the number of drivers originally agreed. You can also move your booking free of charge.
2.2.          a) Providing a minimum of 48 HOURS (but less than seven days) notice is given, a full refund LESS the deposits paid is returned if the event organiser cancels a booked event or reduces the number of drivers originally agreed.
b) You can request to move the activity date, subject to availability. This forfeits any refunds and incurs a £5.00 administration charge. The event organiser may request to move or cancel the event by emailing – info@pkart.co.uk.
c)Bookings made less than 48 hours in advance are subject to cancelation procedures found in section.
2.3.          ALL outstanding balances become payable by the event organiser if they cancel a booked event or reduces the number of drivers originally agreed if less than 48 HOURS notice is given. Refunds or moving of a booking cannot be granted during this period.
2.4.          Plymouth Karting reserves the right to change the date of the booking if they deem it physically impossible to hold the event. In this instance, no refund will be granted, and a credited voucher of the amount paid will be given to you and valid for 12 months.
2.5.          Plymouth Karting reserves the right to suspend or cancel a booked event at any time if it is judged to be unsafe.
2.6.          Plymouth Karting is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the event organiser, drivers booked or any other third party at any time.
2.7           In the event that you may have been in contact or have contracted coronavirus 48 hours before your booking, you will not be permitted to enter the premises.  No refund will be given but Plymouth Karting will transfer your booking if it happens to be after the 48-hour notice policy found in 2.2. You will have to provide one of the following:
a. COVID-19 Positive screenshot from NHS
b. Screenshot of a positive Lateral Flow Device test that has been registered and confirmed on the government website.
c. Screenshot of the email from the school your child attends which informs you the child must self-isolate.
2.8           In the event the policy found at 2.7 occurs, we will allow for 1 (one) calendar month to reschedule the activity(s).
2.9.           Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged eighteen or over whilst on Plymouth Karting Limited property. If an appropriate adult must miss their activity, no refund shall be granted. Credit may be awarded to a driver profile at the Duty Manager’s discretion.

Driver Restrictions

3.1.          The minimum driver age for Adult Group Race events is 16 years when you book an exclusive adult race, some younger drivers (14-15) may be accepted with pre approval from the Management. The minimum height restriction for drivers is 125cm or a minimum age of 8 years.
3.2.          All drivers must register at our registration kiosk and sign a waiver which confirms the following:
That they are in good health, medically fit and not in a condition that could make it dangerous for them to drive.
That they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and consent to disclose the nature of any prescribed drugs they are taking.
They will accept the decision of the marshal(s) should it be decided not to let them drive or their drive is terminated early for safety reasons.
They accept the duration of their visit will be recorded on CCTV with audio.
They will wear appropriate footwear — i.e., no sandals or flip-flops etc.
They will wear the safety helmet provided but may elect not to wear overalls or gloves at their own risk. They accept overalls may have to be worn for modesty reasons.
Balaclavas are mandatory and can be purchased at our reception desk or you are welcome to bring your own.
They will be responsible for the security of their valuables.
They have read and accept these terms and conditions and understand go-karting can be a dangerous sport and that there are risks involved.
It is their decision to drive.
3.3.          All drivers under the age of 16 years must have their disclaimer form countersigned by a responsible adult at our registration kiosk or you can register on your own smart phone.
3.4.          All drivers must be capable of reaching and operating the controls of a kart comfortably. If in doubt, you are strongly advised to visit Plymouth Karting so an assessment can be made prior to a booking commitment.
3.5.          Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged eighteen or over whilst on Plymouth Karting Limited property. If an appropriate adult must miss their activity, no refund shall be granted. Credit may be awarded to a driver profile at the Duty Manager’s discretion. 

Personal Safety and Responsibility

4.1.          All drivers must obey the RULES of the track. Detailed as follows:
YOU MUST wear a safety helmet, balaclava, gloves and are advised to wear overalls and neck braces. Neck braces are compulsory for children under the age of 16.
YOU MUST attend the driver safety briefing when asked to do so.
ALWAYS obey the marshals’ instructions – their decision is final.
NO BUMPING – bumping is DANGEROUS.

OBEY all lights and flags:
RED – STOP safely
AMBER – SLOW DOWN and do not overtake
GREEN – Go / Safe to continue
BLACK & WHITE chequered – Return to pits / end of race

DO NOT get in or out of a kart unless told to do so by a marshal.
WALKING PACE when driving in the pits.
NO loose clothing, sandals, jewellery, food/drink, or the use of electronic equipment. Safely secure keys.
NO aggressive behaviour including bad language. This includes to other customers and to our staff.
Spectators and visitors MUST NOT attempt to enter the track area unless invited to do so by a marshal. All safety signage displayed in and around the building must be complied with.
Spectators accept their visit will be recorded on CCTV with audio.

4.2.          Plymouth Karting uses every endeavour to ensure driver and spectator safety, but motor sport activity can be dangerous, and an element of risk MUST be accepted by all visitors.
4.3.          Children must always be supervised whilst on our premises. We ask that parents/guardians watch their children throughout the duration of their visit around the reception area, especially around the windows and furniture. They MUST be accompanied by their parents/guardians when in the garden, car park and lobby area where the toilets are designated. Plymouth Karting Staff reserve the right to remove the option of any child participating in any activity if they are seen to be damaging property or misbehaving.
4.4         Plymouth Karting reserves the right to charge the organiser/individual of any activity/activities for any damages that may occur during their visit and inform the correct organisations of criminal damage if deemed necessary.

Exclusion from Venue

5.1.          Plymouth Karting reserves the right to cancel a booked event or exclude drivers and/or spectators and visitors from the premises with no refund under the following circumstances:
They are thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
They are wearing clothing likely to cause offence.
They are a danger to themselves or others.
They are displaying aggressive or abusive behaviour (physical or verbal) on and off the track. This includes staff, other drivers and /or spectators.
5.2.          If you or anyone in your party have previously visited us and have done one or more of the above. You may have been banned from the premises without notice. If you believe that this might be the case, please contact us on info@pkart.co.uk so we can check our system and avoid delays on the day. Plymouth Karting is not liable for any costs you may incur, and you may still be charged.

Café

6.1          The café may not be open for the duration of your party. However, Plymouth Karting will give you the option to book food which will take priority.
6.2          You must make allergens known to Plymouth Karting before ordering. Plymouth Karting does not take responsibility for those who do not inform us of dietary requirements.
6.3          The café will only be open on certain days of the week unless preauthorised. You can find the opening hours of our café on our website.
6.4          You will not be permitted to bring your own food or order in food but are welcome to bring a cake.
6.5          Only Plymouth Karting Employees are permitted in the café.
6.6          It is the responsibility of the customer when making a pre-order that they order correctly and accept that if this is not ordered correctly that they may have to pay extra to change the meal if it has already been cooked.
6.7          It is the responsibility of the customer to inform parents of party food that they may order for anyone under the age of 16 years.

E-Vouchers

7.1           You must ensure you use the correct email when paying for your e-voucher. Plymouth Karting will not be responsible for the voucher being sent to someone else.
7.2           All vouchers have a 12-month expiry date from the day of purchase and cannot be redeemed thereafter.
7.3           Vouchers cannot be sold to another party.
7.4           Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
7.5           Vouchers are non-refundable.
7.6           Vouchers can be used for any activity as well as food and drink.
7.8           There will be no change or credit given when using vouchers.
7.9           Vouchers can be used as a part or full payment.
7.10         Plymouth Karting doesn’t guarantee any spaces will be available on sessions unless booked in advance.
7.11         Lost, Stolen or destroyed vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.
7.12         If we for any unforeseen circumstance cannot provide your booking, we will extend your voucher for up to 12 months. If the customer cancels for any reason, the voucher will not be extended.
7.13         Plymouth Karting reserves the right to reject any voucher that has been tampered with or in any way found to be unacceptable.
7.14         This voucher cannot be used to purchase any other vouchers.

LASER FIGHTERS – Laser Tag

Booking

1.1.          A refundable deposit of £3.00 per player (minimum total £50.00) is payable within seven days of booking. If booked on short notice with less than seven days until the commencement date it will be payable at the time of booking.
1.2.          Outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the booked event.
1.3.          Provisional bookings are accepted but at the organiser’s risk.
1.4.          Bookings are only confirmed once the appropriate booking form(s) have been completed and only secured once deposit(s) have been paid.
1.5.          We accept debit/credit cards, cash and online payments. Cheques are not currently accepted.
1.6.          Bookings cannot be transferred or resold.
1.7.          Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged eighteen or over whilst on Plymouth Karting Limited property.   2. Not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and consent to disclose the nature of any prescribed drugs they are on.
  3. Accept the decision of the marshal(s) should it be decided not to let them play or have their game terminated early for safety reasons.
  4. Accept that their visit will be recorded on CCTV with audio
  5. Wear appropriate footwear – i.e., no sandals or flip flops.
  6. Wear modest clothing.
  7. Be responsible for the security of their valuables.
  8. Have read and accept these terms and conditions.
  9. It is your decision to play.

3.3.          Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged eighteen or over whilst on Plymouth Karting Limited property. If an appropriate adult must miss their activity, no refund shall be granted. Credit may be awarded to a driver profile at the Duty Manager’s discretion.

  1. NO RUNING –running can result in injury to you and others.
  2. OBEY the marshals’ instructions – their decision is final.
  3. AVOID physical contact
  4. TWO HANDS on the gun at all times.
  5. DO NOT attempt to climb up walls or lie on the ground.
  6. No sandals/flip flops, loose jewellery, food/drink, or the use of electronic equipment. Safely secure keys.
  7. No aggressive behaviour including bad language
  8. Spectators accept that they will be recorded on CCTV with audio.

4.2.          Spectators and visitors MUST NOT attempt to enter the arena unless invited to do so by a marshal. All safety signage displayed in the arena must be complied with.
4.3.          Children must be supervised at all times whilst on our premises. We ask that parents/guardians watch their children throughout the duration of their visit around reception area, especially around the windows and furniture. They MUST be accompanied by their parents/guardians when in the garden, car park and lobby area where the toilets are designated. This is due to our toilets and several pieces of furniture being vandalised and broken. Plymouth Karting Staff reserve the right to remove the option of any child participating in any activity if they are seen to be damaging property or misbehaving.
4.4.        Plymouth Karting reserves the right to charge the organiser/individual of any activity/activities for any damages that may occur during their visit and inform the correct organisations of criminal damage if deemed necessary.
4.5.          Laser Fighters uses every endeavour to ensure player and spectator safety, but an element of risk exists in all activities which is assumed to have been accepted by visitors if they choose to play or spectate.

Exclusion from Venue

5.1.          Laser Fighters reserves the right to cancel a booked event or exclude players and/or spectators and visitors from the premises with no refund under the following circumstances:

  1. They are thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  2. They are wearing clothing likely to cause offence.
  3. They are considered to be a danger to themselves or others.
  4. They are displaying aggressive or abusive behaviour (physical or verbal). This includes staff and other players and/or spectators.
  5. If you or anyone in your party have previously visited us and have done one or more of the above. You may have been banned from the premises without notice. PRIVATE/CORPORATE HIRE – Indoor Karting

1.Booking
1.1.A refundable deposit of £10.00 per driver is payable within seven days of booking.
1.2.Private Hire MUST be booked at least 4 weeks before the date of proposed booking.
1.3.Outstanding balances must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to commencement of the booked event.
1.4.Provisional bookings are accepted but at the organiser’s risk.
1.5.Bookings are only confirmed once the appropriate booking form(s) have been completed and only secured once deposit(s) have been paid.
1.6. We only accept cash, debit/credit cards and online payments. Cheques are not currently accepted.
1.7.Bookings cannot be transferred or resold.
1.9.If you arrive late or do not show up for your activity. This may mean you will miss your activity, and this will not be refunded.

2.Cancellations
2.1.Providing a minimum of 4 WEEKS notice is given, a full refund will be returned if the event organiser cancels a booked event or reduces the number of
drivers originally agreed.
2.2. Providing a minimum 2 WEEKS notice is given, a full refund LESS the deposits paid is returned if the event organiser cancels a booked event or reduces
the number of drivers originally agreed.
2.3.ALL outstanding balances become payable by the event organiser if they cancel a booked event or reduces the number of drivers originally agreed if
less than 2 WEEKS notice is given.
2.4.Plymouth Karting reserves the right to change the date of the booking if they deem it physically impossible to hold the event. In this instance, no refund
will be granted, and a credited voucher of the amount paid will be given to you and valid for 12 months.
2.5.Plymouth Karting reserves the right to suspend or cancel a booked event at any time if it is judged to be unsafe.
2.6.Plymouth Karting is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the event organiser, drivers booked or any other third party at any time.

3.Driver restrictions
